Reversing explained
This tool reads your text from the last character to the first. “Hello world” becomes “dlrow olleH”. Emoji and other characters made of several code units are kept whole, so they do not break into question marks.
When reversed text is useful
Riddles, secret captions, palindrome checks and simple text puzzles. Developers also reverse strings when testing code that handles input order.
Reverse the whole output of the repeater too

Questions about reverse text generator
Is reversed text the same as upside-down text?
No. Reversed only changes the order of characters. Upside-down also swaps letters for rotated look-alikes.
Does it reverse words or letters?
Letters. The whole string is mirrored, so the order of words reverses too.
Will accented letters work?
Yes. Accented letters stay whole characters in most cases.
